Opportunity
This is an opportunity for local artists and craft makers to
come to The Place and sell original work, including seconds and trial
pieces, art materials and books.
It’s a chance to de-clutter studios and homes, and to get some return
on pieces that are too good to throw away.
Fees
Table fees range from £12.50 to £20.00 per table. Some wall space for
hanging pictures is available. The fee includes free hot drinks all
day
Publicity
The Sale will be advertised on The Place website and Blog,
in The Place Newsletter, on posters and flyers posted locally and at
relevant venues, and in editorial in the Evening Post.
Application & Payment
- By cash or cheques (payable to ‘Sherwood Depot Action
Group Ltd’)
- Application form & payment must be received by Friday
14th March 2014
It will be necessary to re-allocated spaces to people on the
waiting list if payment is not received on time.
Other information
ACCESS: By stairs only to two first-floor rooms
PARKING: Please be aware there will be no parking at The
Place except temporarily for unloading and loading. Sherwood has three
free car parks a few minutes walk away and some on-street parking
nearby. Permit Parking only is in operation from Monday – Saturday
POP-UP CAFE (Sweet Jean Cuisine): Food and drink will be
available to buy from the café all day.
ADMISSION FEE
We will be charging a small entry fee at the door (children
free)
.
BOOKS
We would be grateful for donations of art/books to sell.
The Place Activity Centre is a not-for-profit community
company run by a voluntary management group serving the community
without direct funding.
