Children can achieve an Arts Award by exploring a range of different materials and techniques, finding out about different artists and different cultural art, and sharing experiences with others. The Award will usually take 20/25 hours to complete, which means the art group will run throughout the school year. However, the Award is not compulsory, during these sessions the children will build their creative and imaginative skills as well as their technical ability.
